BNE Zertifikat für Hochschullehrende – 2023/24

Die Arbeitsgruppe Bildung für nachhaltige Entwicklung der Allianz ermöglicht seit Oktober 2022 eine jährliche Zertifizierung für Hochschullehrende. Das „Zertifikat für Hochschullehrende Bildung für Nachhaltige Entwicklung“ wird im Rahmen eines Weiterbildungsprogramms vergeben. Der Lehrgang 2023/24 findet zum zweiten Mal statt und startet am 20.11. mit dem Kick-off. Bis 31.10. können Interessierte sich für den Lerhgang bewerben! Klimabiennale Wien

#studis: International Summer University 2024 – Darmstatt

Two courses will be offered:   The program takes place from 27 June (arrival day) until 20 July (departure day),with a virtual component taking place in May/June. It consists of an academic course (9 ECTS), a German language course (3 ECTS) and several cultural activities (day trips to Heidelberg and the Rhine River Valley, riding a solar draisine, hiking, trivia night, intercultural training, and many more). As an ISU 2024 highlight, a 4-day academic excursion to Berlin will be offered, including discussions with a member of parliament and several other academic site visits. The program fee for students from partner universities is 1200 Euro. International symposium: Green Labs: Reducing the Impacts of University Laboratories on the Environment

"The significance of sustainability has increased in recent times, but there remain certain areas that require attention in terms of initiating measures towards implementing sustainability. In particular, the domain of laboratory sustainability is one area that is often overlooked. The utilisation of laboratories incurs energy and resource consumption that is three to five times higher than that of standard office spaces. Moreover, the constant operation of equipment and the extensive consumption of disposable plastics, such as gloves, have considerable environmental impacts. With thousands of universities worldwide operating laboratory facilities, it is imperative that action is taken to mitigate the negative environmental impacts of their operations. The exchange of information and best practices and the promotion of collaborative efforts can expedite the implementation of such changes. Sustainability in the fields of Tourism, Renewable Energies, Digital & Technological Innovations, Recycling & Waste Management, Ecosystems and Social Sustainability SustainMV, this one of a kind event, is jointly organised by the Higher Education Institutions of the region, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. The overarching theme is Sustainability in the fields of Tourism, Renewable Energies, Digital & Technological Innovations, Recycling & Waste Management, Ecosystems and Social Sustainability, showcasing opportunities for transformation through science and education for a sustainable future.
