Die Bewerbung für den Jahrgang 2025/26 des Zertifikats Bildung für Nachhaltige Entwicklung für Hochschullehrende ist ab sofort und noch bis 15. Oktober 2025 geöffnet.
ZERTIFIKAT FÜR HOCHSCHULLEHRENDE BILDUNG FÜR NACHHALTIGE ENTWICKLUNG
Im November 2025 startet erneut das Zertifikat für Hochschullehrende Bildung für Nachhaltige Entwicklung (BNE). Hochschullehrende aller Disziplinen können ihre Kompetenzen für die Lehre im Sinn einer nachhaltigen Entwicklung weiter- oder neu entwickeln und dies über fachliche und institutionelle Grenzen hinweg.
Im Umfang von 4 ECTS erarbeiten die Teilnehmenden Grundlagen, Methoden und vertiefte Einblicke in BNE und können ihre eigene Lehre reflektieren und weiterentwickeln. Ein großer Teil des Curriculums kann den eigenen Interessen und Vorkenntnissen entsprechend zusammengestellt werden.

CERTIFICATE FOR LECTURERS IN EDUCATION FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT
The „Education for Sustainable Development“ certificate for lecturers in higher education starts again in November 2025. University lecturers from all disciplinescan further or newly develop their skills in teaching sustainable development across disciplinary and institutional boundaries.
Over the extent of 4 ECTS credits, participants acquire basic knowledge, methods and in-depth insights into education for sustainable development and can reflect on and further develop their own teaching. A large part of the programme can be tailored to your own interests and prior knowledge.

The ‘International Summer School on Social Banking & Sustainable Finance’ is the annual conference that brings together the world of social banking, sustainable finance, and alternative finance. Each year, around 80 participants from diverse backgrounds, including social and sustainable banks, conventional financial institutions, and enthusiastic students and academics, journey into the heart of this rapidly evolving field. The conference offers a comprehensive exploration of the opportunities, challenges, origins, and distinctive features of banking for a sustainable society with human dignity at its core.
About 20 speakers and workshop leaders with a good mixture of academics and experts from the field, provide updated concepts and knowledge, fostering forward thinking with the aim of promoting innovative and impactful actions.
The conference offers a global perspective on the practices and developments in sustainable banking and finance, allowing participants to engage with leading experts who share their best practices and insights. Moreover, it serves as a platform for forging valuable connections within the industry and building a strong network of like-minded individuals and institutions committed to driving positive change.

The GBS is a non-profit academic program, managed and implemented under the leadership of the OeAD student housing. It is mainly organized in cooperation with the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences Vienna (BOKU University), Technical University Vienna (TU Wien), University of Vienna, Danube University in Krems, University of Applied Sciences (FH Technikum Wien), Austrian Institute of Technology (AIT) and Reinberg Architekten ZT. More than 60 international partners support the GBS.

Anmeldung „Zertifikat für Hochschullehrende Bildung für Nachhaltige Entwicklung“ jetzt möglich!
Die Anmeldung für das „Zertifikat für Hochschullehrende Bildung für Nachhaltige Entwicklung“ der Allianz Nachhaltige Universitäten in Österreich ab sofort bis 31.10.2023 möglich!
Die Arbeitsgruppe Bildung für nachhaltige Entwicklung der Allianz ermöglicht seit Oktober 2022 eine kostenlose Zertifizierung für Hochschullehrende. Das „Zertifikat für Hochschullehrende Bildung für Nachhaltige Entwicklung“ wird im Rahmen eines Weiterbildungsprogramms von der Allianz Nachhaltige Universitäten vergeben.
Der zweite Zertifikatsdurchgang beginnt mit einem Kick-Off am 20. November 2023 in Wien. Mit synchronen, asynchronen, digitalen und Präsenzangeboten erhalten Lehrende im Rahmen des zweisemestrigen Zertifikatslehrgangs vielseitige Einblicke in das breite Feld der Bildung für nachhaltige Entwicklung.
Nach erfolgreichem Abschluss des Zertifikats (Gesamtumfang 4 ECTS, das entspricht in etwa 100 Arbeitsstunden) sind Hochschullehrende fähig, ihre Lehre im Sinn einer Nachhaltigen Entwicklung auszurichten. Dazu gehört es nicht nur, Nachhaltigkeitskonzepte und Diskurse zu vermitteln, sondern auch, das eigene Fach kritisch zu beleuchten und potenzielle Beiträge des Faches zu einer nachhaltigkeitsorientierten gesellschaftlichen Transformation zu vermitteln.
