The exhibition 03: Soil - Between (De-)Composition and (Re-)Construction in the Climate Crisis emerges from the project 03: Soil, which is based on interdisciplinary and site-specific artistic research, and is rooted in a collective field exploration of a subalpine ecological research laboratory in the Stubai Valley (Tyrol, Austria). Here you can finde more Information: 03: Soil | AIL Soil is a highly diverse and sensitive cosmos that is facing increasing pressure due to the climate crisis, as a result of more frequent and severe extreme events such as drought. Soil holds histories, stories and belowground storage systems, repositories of information and traces of past worlds, current developments and future scenarios. At AIL researchers and artists show their open, collaborative process, which unfolds in a multiperspective inquiry on soil and drought. This creates a dialogue at the intersection of data collection, scientific exploration and artistic translation, in which soil becomes a ground for research, creativity, evidence…

The forum Composing Futures: Creative Impact on Eco-Social Transformation invites practitioners and thinkers from contemporary, improvised, and experimental music, as well as related interdisciplinary practices, to collectively explore how artistic work can respond to and reshape intertwined ecological and social crises. Rather than approaching sustainability as an administrative or policy requirement, we understand it as an artistic, social, and structural question—one that concerns not only ecological responsibility but also working conditions, institutional structures, and modes of collaboration. This forum is conceived as an interactive platform. It combines critical inputs with dialogues, participatory workshops, practice-based sessions, and co-creative labs. Anlässlich der Pensionierung von Franz Rauch, lädt die Universität Klagenfurt zu einem Symposium ein, das sein berufliches Lebenswerk würdigt und zugleich ein Leitmotiv seines Wirkens in den Mittelpunkt stellt. „Gemeinsam mehr bewegen“ Im Zentrum des Symposiums steht die Vernetzung von Entwicklung, Forschung, Praxis sowie Bildungssteuerung und Politik. Gemeinsam soll auf Kooperationen und Entwicklungen der vergangenen drei Jahrzehnte zurückgeblickt und zugleich Perspektiven für die zukünftige Zusammenarbeit und Vernetzung entwickelt werden.
