In der Ringvorlesung werden marginalisierte Perspektiven, insbesondere Flucht- und Migrationsgründe, sowie Verfolgung auf Grund von sexueller Orientierung und/ oder Geschlechtsidentität, aber auch machtpolitische Hintergründe thematisiert. Ein spannendes und abwechslungsreiches Programm wird von Prof. Claudia Bieling und Mitarbeitenden der Universität Hohenheim vorbereitet, inklusive Keynotes von Prof. Ray Ison und Prof. Marianne Penker (siehe Programm). Die Anmeldefrist endet am 12. März. Das Anmeldeformular sollte dafür genutzt werden. Dies erleichtert die Planung, insbesondere wegen der parallel stattfindenden Workshops am Freitagnachmittag. „Wie sieht eine klimasoziale Stadt der Zukunft aus?Wie lassen sich Klimaerhitzung und soziale Kälte gemeinsam überwinden?“ Angesichts der Klimakrise und wachsender sozialer Ungleichheit präsentiert die Ausstellung „Klimasoziale Stadt“ 15 künstlerische Positionen zu einer klimagerechten Gesellschaft. Vom 3. bis 30. April 2025 sind die Werke an öffentlichen Orten und in Schaufenstern der Linzer Innenstadt zu sehen. Sie werfen klimasoziale Fragen auf und machen gesellschaftliche Stellungnahmen sowie Zukunftsvisionen im städtischen Alltag sichtbar und erfahrbar.
