Green Ideation Sprint

Join the Green Ideation Sprint at RCE of WU Vienna for a one-day free crash course workshop dedicated to cultivating green ideation and essential design thinking skills. Through the application of design thinking methods, you will gain valuable insights and engage in hands-on experiences, enabling you to shape innovative and sustainable solutions for a brighter tomorrow.  

Content of Workshop: 

  • Introduction to Ideation Sprint Challenges: Food Waste/Circularity and Urban Heat Islands 
  • Applying Design Thinking for Ideation 
  • Future proofness of idea: Market Validation and Pitching

Moderators 

Marie-Sophie Attems is a project lead at RCE- Regional Center of Expertise on Sustainable Development, at the University of Economics and Business in Vienna. With a PhD in Natural Resources and Life Sciences, she has additional experience in diverse projects in Education for Sustainable Development. With several years of practical experience at university-level teaching, she has also been engaged in communication and participation in climate change adaptation with diverse stakeholders. This passion for a sustainable use of resources drives her active involvement as an environmental educator. 

Adam Greene is a project coordinator at RCE Vienna for various EU projects, including Urban Shift and GREEN LEAP. His focus is on project management and sustainable innovation in educational environments. His background is in Economic Policy, with a particular focus on nature-based solutions in European urban development. He has also represented the EU and Ireland at the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Vienna, primarily focusing on economic and environmental security. In addition, he has experience of public funding and project partnership cooperation in a Viennese mobility scale up.
