WU | Democracy and Sustainability

Public Lectures am 27. und 28. September 2017, 18:30 Uhr, Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien, Festsaal 2, Gebäude LC, Welthandelsplatz 1, 1020 Wien

Ende September finden zwei öffentliche Veranstaltungen statt, die vom WU-Institut für Gesellschaftswandel und Nachhaltigkeit (IGN) und dem WU-Kompetenzzentrum für Nachhaltigkeit organisiert werden. Am 27. September geht es um die Legitimationskrise der Demokratie, am 28. September um den Zusammenhang zwischen Klimawandel und den Perspektiven einer demokratischen Gesellschaft. Beide Events beginnen um 18:30 Uhr und finden in englischer Sprache statt. Wir bitten um Anmeldung bis zum 25. September 2017 per E-Mail an nachhaltigkeitskompetenzzentrum@wu.ac.at – wir ersuchen um Angabe des Tages / der Tage, an dem / denen Sie teilnehmen möchten.

Public Lectures on September 27, and 28, 2017, both 6:30 pm, Vienna University of Economics and Business, Ceremonial Hall 2, building LC, Welthandelsplatz 1, 1020 Vienna

Two public events will be held at the end of September, organized by the WU Institute for Social Change and Sustainability (IGN) and the WU Competence Center for Sustainability. On September 27, the subject discussed will be the legitimacy crisis of democracy and on September 28 it will be the relationship between climate change and the prospects of a democratic society. Both events will be held in English and start at 6:30 pm. We ask you to register by September 25, 2017 by e-mail to nachhaltigkeitskompetenzzentrum@wu.ac.at – please indicate the date(s) on which you wish to participate.
